The DR core lawn aerator with recoil starter is powered by a 205cc Briggs & Stratton 4-stroke which propels the aerator at a comfortable walking pace of up to 2.5mph. Core aerating pulls plugs of soil from the lawn to channel more moisture & vital nutrients to the roots of the grass. Coring reduces compaction which is the main obstacle to healthy grass. Removing cores helps the lawn to grow with a healthier appearance & overall stronger texture. The electric start DR lawn aerator pulls plugs of approx 2-3" in depth from the ground with 4" spacing between the plugs. The gentle turf tyres & steel rims provide all the needed traction without leaving messy treadmarks behind you. The tyres can be smoother than are used on normal outdoor garden machinery because the self-propelled drive comes from the cams themselves. The cam engine propels the aerator & also drives the coring tubes.
