The Mountfield 2240H ride on lawnmower has a highly efficient 102cm/40in Contra-Flo cut & collect system combined with a 656cc twin cylinder Briggs & Stratton Intek OHV engine the 2240H has ample power to cope with areas of up to 3 acres. LED display on the dashboard provides the operator with key information on the status of the tractor including RPM, battery condition, fuel level & service requirements. Mountfield ride on tractors are extremely versatile machines, they can collect the grass clippings or if required rear discharge them. They can also mulch & recycle your grass!! The Mountfield 2240H cutter deck has an electronic engagement & gives a quality of finish & collection that sets the standard for others to follow. Operator comfort is a high priority with hydrostatic transmission for infinitely variable speed control, an adjustable seat & ergonomically placed controls. Switching between collection or mulch modes is extremely simple & takes less than a minute. To switch into mulch mode just remove the collector, insert the *mulching plug into the discharge chute & replace the collector. To return to collection simply reverse the procedure.
