This philosophy translates into their kids bikes being just as well built as their adult ones. In fact they utilise the same hiugh grade of 6061 heat treated aluminium for the frames, making the Minny lighter than most childrens bikes of this size, an das a result, easier for small people to handle. The other benefit of a Ridgeback is the built in adjustability. As expected the seat can be moved up & down & the handlebars tweaked as the rider grows. There are no gears to worry about, but even the brake levers are adjustable to make them easy to reach no matter what size your fingers are, & the stabilisers are easy to remove when the time comes. Those are all the sensible reasons to choose the Ridgeback Minny, but the real one is that it's pink with butterflies on it & she'll love it.
