Ridgeback MX24, Junior Mountain Bike, 2014 The MX24 uses the 6061 drawn aluminium that Ridgeback use on their full size adult bicycles, resulting in a light-weight, easy to handle machine. Being easy to maneuver is as much a safety feature as an enjoyment enhancement, & the sloping top-tube design makes the MX24 even easier (and therefore safer) to get on & off. Ridgeback recommend this bicycle for 8 to 11 year olds, so it's bound to take some knocks & abuse, & the beauty of a Ridgeback kids bike is that it is a properly constructed bike with quality, branded components, & is intended to last well after the original owner has outgrown it. Ideal as a h&-me-down for younger siblings or an easy ebay sale! ...

Ridgeback Panorama, Touring Bike, 2013

Ridgeback Panorama Road BIcycle, 2011 The Ridgeback Panorama is the top bike in the World range and elder sibling to the Voyage. At its heart is a frame made from butted Reynolds 725 tubing, light yet strong enough to pull off fully-laden touring with ease and style, and coupled with a triple butted cromoly fork. This bike is blessed with some high end parts cherry-picked from Shimano XT, Deore and Sora. It represents an upgrade of most of the components fitted to the Voyage, !Like the Voyage, the Panorama has been designed from the gound up for the purpose of carrying large loads efficiently for long distances. The frame and the wheels are designed to cope with all the load permutations associated with 2 large rear panniers with a tent and sleeping bag between, 2 small front
panniers, a bar bag and even 3 bottle cages. The Shimano XT, Deore and Sora mix delivers as low a gear as you could want, so geography, or topography, should present no barrier to your route choice. The Panorama delivers low weight frame and forks, 27 speeds with a low bottom gear, Sora Dual Control STI shift levers, light and strong wheels and a front rack. Details of the Panorama spec stand up impressively against the spec from any other mass-produced tourer brand and many bespoke brands: in fact we would go as far as to say that it blows most of them into the weeds! And the British Racing Blue is quite stunning!
