Wilier Izoard XP, Ultegra Wilier's entry level carbon frameset is a wonderful intro to high-end carbon fibre, with it's monocoque construction & a weave that's been refined since the Izoard first launched to improve handling, comfort & weight. An updated fork design for the 2013 model keeps handling easy & stabilises the front end, so the Wilier Izoard works admirably as a club run & racing bike as well conforming to a comfortable enough geometry to take you on longer days out such as sportive style 100k plus rides. Wilier Izoard XP The original, award winning Izoard has beenenhanced & updated, keeping the same comfort-biased rider geometry but using an enhanced carbon layup & a more pronounced curve in the fork legs for better hanlding. Wilier's northern Italian heritage can only be complimented by an all-Italian build kit, so it's no surprise to find very nice gearing & braking from Campagnolo Veloce & Miche components with Fulcrum Racing 7 wheels, giving a good all-round road rolling stock & keeping everything Italian. Wilier Montegrappa Xenon Born out of Wilier Triestina's HQ at the foot of the Dolomites & named after the famous climb that often features as a mountain stage of the Giro D' Italia, you'd be right to expect the Montegrappa to be built to be comfortable on a long distance ride & geared to make climbing a little easier. Add to this the all-Italian Campagnolo Xenon gearing & a price tag of well under the £1k mark & you're looking at a perfect bike for comfortable & fast commutes that will deliver the goods when you want to increase your ride distance or are getting ready for a big event like a sportive or charity ride. The geometry is a trickle-down from Wiliers more expensive models & designed for modern riding & ' Gran Fondo' events with a compact chainset combined with 11-28 tooth  rear sprockets to cope better with steep hiils.
