The sturdy 7mm straight-cut overlap cladding allows for natural timber movement in changing weather conditions and is supported by a 28x28 frame. As with all of The Better Shed Range, this shed is modular. With smaller panels, there is more framing than in standard sheds, resulting in a much stronger build. The modular design also means the panels are less prone to warping. Joins in the modular construction are protected by outer weather covering strips to prevent any water ingress.
The high quality build of the 10x15 shed is further enhanced by the metal roof truss bracket, a bracket which supports the joins of the apex roof, adding strength as well as aiding a simpler build by ensuring the angles of the roof are easily and correctly aligned. All of this shed’s timber has been pressure treated. The process forces preservative deep into the timber resulting in an impressive 15 year guarantee against rot and fungal decay without the need for further treatments. The double doors of this garden workshop feature Z-bracing for increased strength while the hidden hinges cannot be tampered with from the outside. The wooden shed base consists of a framework that is
made from UC4 incised timber which has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment ensures that the framework is robust and is guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years. Size of base: 7.5cm (h) x 300.6cm (w) x 442.5cm (d) Plastic Shed Base Kit Quick and simple to install, the 10x15 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry. To install the base, simply
interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 70 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Please be advised that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service.
