Fulcrum Rapid Red 3 C24 Gravel Wheelset Packed with some of the best technologies available from Fulcrum, this gravel wheelset gives riders maximum performance when the tarmac comes to an end. It features two robust aluminium rims, making it perfect at handling all the abuse that's associated with long days in the saddle. Fulcrum has also put each wheel through a CNC-machining process that shaves off any unnecessary weight & maintains strength. The result is an exceptionally lightweight gravel wheelset that's also highly durable on every ride. The world of Gravel riding is tough to define with every cyclist likely to do things slightly differently from one another. It is with versatility in mind that Fulcrum have designed the Rapid Red 3. This is a completely new project designed for mixed terrain, constructed from a fully CNC machined piece of aluminium, which keeps them lightweight. These wheels are designed to be versatile, light & durable. Exploring B-roads along quiet secondary paved & unpaved roads, with some off-road sections thrown in for fun, on drop bar bikes & wider tyres is something that we know & love here at Fulcrum. The Rapid Reds, created from a completely new project, are perfectly at home on mixed terrain. Constructed completely with a machined CNC aluminium section, which significantly lowers their weight, their 24 mm internal rim width is ideal for current frames designed around larger wheels. The celebrated 2-Way Fit Ready system means that you can run the wheels tubeless or with the classic clincher & inner tube, ensuring the widest possible compatibility with most tyres available on the market. The choices don't stop there: they are available in 700C (starting width 30mm) or 650B. With the various options possible, from wheel size to tyre type, you can either make this wheel extremely fast on the road or unstoppable in the most demanding off-road situations. In fact, they are classified for ASTM 2 riding conditions.
