Pro-Lite Bortola A21 Alloy Clincher Wheelset The Pro-Lite Bortola A21W is an ultra-light, tubeless compatible wheel build that features a wide, low-profile (21mm) rim for optimised performance, speed, acceleration & stability; a true racers dream. Increased Aerodynamics & Performance Output The hub flanges are designed to be of a low-profile, which increases aerodynamics & to keep the wheel build strong, the Pro-Lite specific 'spoke braces' are used to fortify strength & ultimately, performance output. These spoke braces virtually increase the size of the flange in terms of strength & power transfer without the need for huge hub flanges. The spokes feature a special 90° bend & are butted, meaning they are stronger than a standard spoke. Pro-Lite also use washers made with a special material, that sit tight against the hub flange so the spokes fit flush. This results in a reduced loss in power that is commonly associated with the use of traditional spoke designs.
