This synthetic leather gives the Jarin shoes a snug but wonderfully comfortable fit, one you'll soon forget about, letting you nail those technical trail sections. A toe protector keeps rock & root strikes at bay while the reinforced heel cup supports the foot over longer distances. Next comes the closure systems. This is a combination of Soft Instep Closure 4 & Techno-3 dials. The Soft Instep Closure features a wide EVA padded strap, spreading pressure evenly as you cinch down the tension with the Techno dial. Adjustment on the inside & outside of the shoes guarantees a perfect fit, whether you have a high or low instep. This is then complemented by the lower Techno-3 Push Dial System, allowing a precise & comfortable fit across your lower foot. MTB SRS Carbon-Ground Sole Then comes a stiff pedalling platform. Sidi's MTB SRS Carbon-Ground Sole provides confidence-inspiring power transfer & support of the foot as you ride fast across rough terrain. 100 grams lighter than the previous version it still retains the perfect balance of stiffness for pedalling efficiency with tuned flex for comfort on & off the bike. The replaceable toe & heel tread blocks give excellent traction when you're having to hop off the bike & run while the replaceable MTB Plate ensures the sole is protected against damage when you're clipped into your pedals.
