The 2020 Dawes Sahara Low Step was designed to be the perfect student bike. It was created for those wanting a real workhorse, but without having to spend a month’s rent to get it. The Low Step frame is traditionally seen as a ‘ladies bike’ but they are also really popular with anyone who has limited mobility & struggles getting on & off a bike. The Sahara uses Dawes Urban geometry to give you a bike perfectly suited to getting around town. The hi-tensile steel frame isn’t super light but it is built to withstand the knocks of regular use. To keep things simple the bike comes with a low maintenance 6 speed Shimano transmission to cut down on ongoing servicing & unnecessary complications. The quill style stem allows for quick & easy height adjustment, whilst the full length mudguards & chainguard ensure you arrive to your destination without being covered in mucky water. & to finish the bike off the bike comes with a rear carrier of carrying up to 25kgs so you can haul plenty of gear around. This bike is great for Getting around town & carrying plenty of gear. It doesn’t have a massive range of gears so is best suited to flatter towns & cities.
