The 2021 Orbea Alma H50 Hardtail Mountain Bike in Blue Bondi & Bright Red is the entry-level bike in the Orbea Alma range. It is based on their World Cup Cross Country race bike to give you a light, fast & fun bike that is a blast to ride on singletrack & will also get you to work in record time if you need it. The Alma H50 is built around a hydroformed aluminium frame & uses geometry set to tackle the demands of the harshest modern racecourses. A slacker head angle enhanced handling on technical sections while a steeper seat angle & lower stack height increase handling precision & pedalling efficiency. Shorter chainstays deliver maximum agility without instability. The top tube of the Alma has a distinctive bend in it; this is part of Orbea's 4x 4 Dynamic Structure. It adds a natural flex point in the frame which gives you an efficient, smooth ride that feels like floating over rough terrain. Boost spacing at the back allows for shorter chainstays, increased rigidity & more tyre clearance. That all adds up to a bike that accelerates better & tracks better through rocks & roots. The Alma H50 comes with 11 speed Shimano Deore shifters, Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes & Sun Race 11-51t 11-Speed cassette. The suspension is handled by a Rock Shox 30 Silver TK Crown adjust QR Solo Air fork with 100mm of travel. A Selle Royal saddle, FSA headset & Maxxis tyres round off a great value build.
