The 2021 Orbea Occam H20 Full Suspension Mountain Bike in Metallic Black is a do it all modern 29er trail bike with 140mm of travel front & rear. It is pretty much the same bike as the 2020 Occam but with some subtle tweaks. Lots of reviews rave about how efficiently this bike climbs & you can use it for big days out, but it can also handle rides involving uplifts, bike parks & jumps. The H20 uses the same frame as the entry level H30 but has upgraded suspension, gears & brakes. The Occam comes with all the design features you would expect on a modern trail bike including a slack head angle for better descending, long wheel base for stability at speed & a steeper seat angle to put you in a proper pedalling position.A key design feature of the Occam is the Asymmetrical shock linkage. The Occam design offsets the shock to the left side of the frame, allowing the asymmetrical support to follow a more direct path. This straight line that closely follows the shock mounting is the most efficient way to neutralize suspension forces on the front triangle. It also makes it incredibly easy to access damper controls & the tidy design leaves room for a water bottle with easy left-side access. The Occam H20 is built around a hydroformed aluminium frame & comes fitted with a Fox 34 fork & a Fox Float DPS rear shock. The rest of the build uses reliable equipment including a mix of 12 speed Shimano SLX & XT gearing & Shimano M6100 hydraulic brakes. This bike is perfect for Mountain bikers who want a do it all bike. The Occam H20 can handle all-day rides on natural trails or a day out at the bike park.
