The Bontrager Montrose Pro Carbon Bike Saddle is an ultralight, high-performance saddle for road or mountain racers. The Montrose Pro is built for Bontrager’s Posture 2 position which tends to suit racers & fast, aggressive riders. For road riders this means you’ll be spending a lot of time on the drops. For mountain bikers you’ll likely be riding a fast XC or marathon bike. The Posture 2 position on the Montrose gives increased stability when sitting on the nose of the saddle & better pressure distribution throughout. The Contour Relief Zone Plus (CRZ+) full saddle cutaway gives better soft tissue protection for extra comfort on longer rides. The Montrose Pro saddle uses a carbon fibre reinforced shell & oversized suspended carbon rails. This makes the saddle super light but also adds extra compliance into the saddle allowing it to soak up more vibrations & bumps to give you a more comfortable ride & let you keep the power down for longer.
