The Bontrager Little Dipper MIPS Toddler Cycling Helmet is one of the smallest helmets on the market to feature MIPS. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) was developed by brain surgeons & scientists to allow a small amount of movement in the helmet on impact, helping to reduce rotational forces on the brain caused by angled impacts to the head & adding an extra layer of protection. As well as the MIPS Brain protection the Little Dipper has a moulded EPS shell that gives extended coverage at the sides & back to protect more of the your kid’s head. To help get the helmet on & off more easily it comes with a magnetic buckle that simply snaps together without the risk of pinching skin.
