The Bontrager Vostra Women’s Road Cycling Shoes are designed to give you a good quality performance road cycling shoe without breaking the bank. Bontrager have aimed these shoes at cyclists who are new to clipping in, or to regular cyclists on a budget. The Vostra is the women’s equivalent of the men’s Bontrager Starvos shoe. The Vostra shares much of the construction of more expensive models like the Sonic shoes. It uses the same in Form Race last to give you a performance fit with a bit of extra room for added comfort. The Vostra also shares the same nylon composite sole construction, Power Truss design & stiffness rating as the Sonic. The major difference is that the Vostra comes with 3 hook & loop (Velcro) straps while the Sonic uses 1 strap & a Boa dial. The Vostra is compatible with the standard 3 bolt road cleats out of the box & can also take MTB style 2 bolt cleats using an adaptor plate (sold separately). All together the Bontrager Vostra shoes are a good option if you want a proper road cycling shoe but don’t want to spend a fortune.
