The Cannondale Jekyll 29 2 2019 Enduro Mountain Bike is a point and go enduro race bike that uses a mix of Shimano and SRAM equipment. With 29er wheels and 150mm of custom tuned suspension this is a bike of going over obstacles rather than around them. The Jekyll 29 2 is the middle of the range 29” wheel Jekyll bikes. The Jekyll 29 frame uses a carbon front end with an aluminium swing arm. The two are connected by the LockR thru-axle pivot which creates a rock solid connection for added stability. In common with a lot of Cannondale’s other bikes the Jekyll uses Asymmetric Integration (Ai), which basically translates to the back end of the bike being asymmetric. This delivers some of the shortest stays on the market to give more tyre clearance and frame stiffness than even Boost frames
can muster. Plus a rear wheel that’s stiffer and stronger thanks to the Ai even-dish build. It all adds up to the kind of agility and traction that has to be ridden to be believed. The Leveraged Single Pivot gives optimal suspension response throughout the stroke and keeps the suspension active under braking, while retaining the stiffness, durability and reliability of a single pivot design. Co-developed with Fox, the Gemini system adds two ride modes (Hustle & Flow) to the Fox shocks. Flip to Hustle to shorten the travel and ramp up the spring rate for a snappier, more responsive feel for pumping through turns, sprints and traction-challenged climbs. Flip back to Flow for full Fox travel when things get rough. The Jekyll 2 29 comes with tubeless ready wheels, dropper post and Fox
Float Performance shocks front and rear. Braking comes from Shimano XT hydraulics and the gearing is a mix of SRAM GX and X01 with an Eagle rear cassette to get you up the hills.
