The Tifosi Amoke Fototec High Speed Red Sunglasses use the Tifosi photochromic lenses to react to different light conditions. In bright sunlight, the lens particles react to UV rays, darkening the optics & ensuring additional glare protection. The Fototec High Speed Red lenses fitted to the Amoke glasses have the fastest transmission between light & dark in the Tifosi range. The Fototec High Speed Red glasses allow 13.5% light transmission in bright light & 35.3% light transmission in low light conditions, compared to 10 – 25% & 30- 75% in the rest of the Tifosi range. This puts the Fototec High Speed Red at the darkest end of the Tifosi range, letting through the least amount of light, but the payoff for this is super fast transmission between light ranges. This makes these glasses ideal for fast road cycling. The Amok glasses are a dynamic full-frame design suited to both road cycling & mountain biking.
