The Tifosi Veloce Fototec Light Night Reader Glasses use Tifosi photochromic lenses to react to different light conditions. In bright sunlight, the lens particles react to UV rays, darkening the optics for additional glare protection. The Light Night lenses fitted to the Veloce glases let through much more light than Tifosi’s other photochromic. The Fototec Light Night lenses allow 27.7% light transmission in bright light & 75.9% light transmission in low light conditions., compared to 10 – 15% & 30- 45% in the rest of the Tifosi range. This extra light transmission means you are protected from the worst of the sun glare & get full UV protection while still letting plenty of light in.
