The 2019 Raleigh Willow is a Womens classic style bike with a low step frame, a traditional basket & modern reliable components. The Willow is the latest addition to Raleighs classic bike collection, inspired by the grace & beauty of nature & the great outdoors. The Willow’s aluminium frame is light-weight, making the bike easy to manoeuvre & the carefully considered frame design has a relaxed geometry coupled with swept-back handlebars to support a comfortable upright riding position. This riding style enables you to be more aware of your surroundings so you can enjoy riding your new bike safely & with complete confidence. The lightweight aluminium seat post also has a special feature which means that you can adjust your saddle slightly forwards or backwards to find the perfect comfort riding position tailored to you. A ladies comfort sprung saddle has been fitted to the bike in a classic tan colour which perfectly matches the soft handlebar grips. The Willow’s Ultramarine Blue frame colour has been extended to a range of additional features including the pannier rack, mudguards, chain cover & wheel rims & also features a prop st&. The traditional wicker style basket & classic ‘ding-dong’ bell really are the finishing touches. The 7 speed Shimano Revoshift gears are simple to use with an easy ‘twist’ shifter & Tektro brakes provide safe stopping power. A steering limiter has been added to the bike to provide supported steering whilst youre riding & ensure that when your bike is resting on its prop stand the front wheel doesnt tip to one side unexpectedly. The bike cables have been routed inside the frame to reduce maintenance, help avoid trapped clothing incidents & achieve a clean ‘cable free’ look. in addition, all of the Willow’s graphics have been carefully sealed under a clear, protective lacquer to keep your bike pristine no matter where your travels take you.
