The Specialized Centro MIPS Cycle Helmet is intended for commuters & city riders. It’s an easy-to-use, one-size fits all helmet, with a lightweight in-moulded shell construction so it sits comfortably on your head. The all around reflective webbing helps increase your visibility to motorists when riding in traffic. The rear vent on the Centro has been specifically designed to have locks put through it so you can lock your helmet to your bike when you get to work. The latest version of the Specialized Centro helmet comes with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). MIPS is designed to protect your child’s head from glancing blows by allowing the helmet to move in a controlled way on impact. This helps to absorb some of the force of a crash, reducing the shock to the brain. Once MIPS has absorbed the initial shock the in-moulded helmet shell will then absorb the bulk of the force.
