The Specialized Roubaix Comp Sagan Collection 2020 Road Bike is a limited edition version of the brand Roubaix which is lighter & faster than previous generation Specialized Roubaix bikes. When you consider that the old versions of the Roubaix notched up six wins at Paris-Roubaix, the new Roubaix is a bike with some serious ability. The Roubaix has always been built to be smooth but that has come with some compromises. But not anymore. The all-new Roubaix Comp now delivers compliance without compromise by introducing the new Future Shock 1.5 fork that gives you more control on rough road. At the back the new Pavé seatpost balances the bike out. The new Roubaix has aerodynamics that equal the Specialized Tarmac, & a Rider-First Engineered frame that’s shed some serious weight. Is it still comfortable? Sure, but the new Roubaix is a performance bike first that is capable of some serious speed on the biggest & longest rides you can imagine. The new Roubaix Comp is part of Specialized’s ‘beyond gender’ philosophy. There is no specific men’s & women’s version of the bike but the smaller sizes come with a saddle that suits most women & the larger frame sized come with a more male friendly saddle. The Roubaix Comp is very similar in spec to the Expert. The big difference is with the Future Shock. The Future Shock 2.0 fitted to the Roubaix Expert can be adjusted on the go but the Future Shock 1.5 cannot. You still get extra compliance & a smoother faster ride but it is not as tuneable. This version of the Roubaix Comp comes with standard mechanical Ultegra gearing rather than Di 2. This bike is perfect for The Roubaix Comp comes with Shimano Ultegra gearing & Ultegra hydraulic brakes. The Ultegra equipment is the choice of many experienced cyclists, offering near pro levels of performance without the eye watering price tag.
