Although designed as a mountain bike shoe the Sport is light & stiff enough to do duty as a commuting or touring shoe. The Sport Mountain Bike shoes are compatible with standard 2 bolt SPD cleats so they will work with a wide variety of clip-in pedals. This durable, lightweight shoe features a Body Geometry Fit for all day comfort & a sole with enhanced traction for those times when you have to get off & walk. Like all Specialized shoes the Sport Mountain Bike Shoe uses Body geometry sole construction & footbeds that are ergonomically designed to actively boost pedalling power & efficiency. Features Body Geometry sole construction & footbeds are ergonomically designed & scientifically tested to boost power, increase efficiency, & reduce chance of injury by optimizing hip, knee, & foot alignment. Injection-moulded nylon composite outsole with rubber tread for moderate pedalling stiffness & phenomenal trail traction: Stiffness Index 6.0. Three-strap offset Velcro® closure for a comfortable fit. Durable synthetic leather & vented mesh upper. Combine Body Geometry shoes, footbeds, & wedges to maximize performance benefits.
