The Strada is designed with a fast, agile geometry & sports style riding position complete with adjustable height handlebars. The stripped back sports design & lightweight Aluminium frame means there’s no excess weight to hold you back. However the Strada comes equipped with mudguard & rack mounts to allow you to customise the bike to suit your personal needs. Available in either an open frame or choice of colours in a crossbar frame & sold in a wide range of sizes the Strada 1 is built for versatility. The 650b wheels with high profile tyres have been specially selected for this range to provide added comfort & cushioning while riding as well as increasing your speed. The 42mm wide tyres have a tread tailored to speed on smooth road surfaces & feature a reflective strip running around the rim of the tyre to help make sure youre seen & safe at night. The Strada is fitted with V-brakes to provide the stopping power & a Selle Royal Shadow+ saddle. Equipped with 21 speed Shimano gearing with mega range feature which minimises the impact of steep hills by increasing the distance the rear wheel is turned for each pedal revolution & complete with Shimano’s EZ Fire shifters to make switching between gears simpler the Strada range is built for speed. As 650b wheels can support a wider width tyre we’ve been able to fit multi-terrain tyres on our urban bikes. They feature hard centre tread for speedy tarmac riding & a rougher edge shoulder to improve off-road traction. The high volume tyres can run at lower pressures allowing them to depress on uneven ground meaning you’ll feel fewer bumps when riding off-road. Running your tyre at a lower pressure will also improve the grip of your tyres by increasing its contact area with the ground.
