The Specialized Phenom Comp Men’s Mountain Bike Saddle uses a lot of the tech of the Phenom Pro & Expert saddles but with cheaper materials to bring the price down. Like the Pro & Expert the Phenom Comp is designed for comfort & strength over long days on the trail. It features a carbon-reinforced construction at the shell, along with our Adaptive Edge base that allows the outer edge to conform to your body for a near-custom fit. Where the Phenom Comp saves some money is in using cro-mo saddle rails rather than titanium or carbon. However it still has the same medium density, Level Two Padding as the Expert model & still a rounded, anti-snag design at the back so you can easily get off the back of the bike. As you would expect the Phenom Comp is slightly heavier than the Expert or Pro but it’s also quite a bit cheaper. Like all Specialized saddles the Phenom Comp uses Body Geometry research to provide a saddle that matches your body. The Phenom Comp has been lab tested to assure blood flow to sensitive arteries. This saddle is ideal for mountain bikers on a budget who want to ride fast all day on a comfortable & durable saddle.
