These are used turbo trainers that have been reconditioned by the UK Tacx distributor & come with a Tacx backed 12 month guarantee. Most of these trainers only had light use at demo & exhibition events before being reconditioned but may show signs of use & wear. The Tacx Blue Matic Folding Turbo Trainer is one of Tacx’s entry level turbo trainers. It comes with 10 levels of resistance which can be adjusted using a handlebar mounted switch so you can vary your workout as you go. The Blue Matic Trainer folds up for transport or storage & doesn’t require any mains power so it can be used in for pre-race warmups or training while you travel. Although the Blue Matic is not a Smart trainer you can link it to the Tacx Cycling app, Zwift or Trainer Road by adding the Tacx speed & cadence sensor (sold separately). This will send your speed & cadence up to the virtual training platforms but won’t send any feedback in return. If you are looking for an entry level turbo trainer that you can use in a variety of situations then the Tacx Blue Matic is a good value option.
