The Tacx Booster Ultra High Power Folding Magnetic Trainer is the top model in Tacx’s ‘blue’ line of basic turbo trainers. Most of the Tacx basic trainers can handle up to 700 watts of power. The Booster can take over 1000. The Booster doesn’t need any mains power & folds up for transport making this a really popular warm-up trainer for pros before races. The Booster comes with a handlebar mounted switch to change between 10 different levels of resistance so you can tailor your workout while the enclosed flywheel makes it one of the quietists trainers in its class. Although the Booster is not a Smart trainer you can link it to the Tacx Cycling app, Zwift or Trainer Road by adding the Tacx speed & cadence sensor (sold separately).
