A heavy cropping Scottish variety which flowers very late. This means that the flowers hardly ever get killed by the frost & means you will get a bumper crop of fruit. Strong branched with an upright habit, this means you get a lot of fruit from a small amount of space. Each juicy berry has a beautiful, rich cassis flavour. Harvest July-August. Height 1-1.5m. Growing your own fruit has to be one of the most rewarding things any gardener can do. Not only can you grow varieties that youd be hard pushed to find in any greengrocer, but you can grow the more expensive fruit, saving money along the way. Included in my fruit range are varieties Ive grown for years on my allotment & in my garden, all of which are firm favourites of mine, my family & friends.
