A well known variety, popular for its coral pink & orange stems in winter. Throughout the rest of the year Cornus sanguinea ' Midwinter Fire' forms a pleasing shrub, producing ivory white flowers in summer, followed by clusters of blue-black berries. The orange & gold autumn foliage provides a spectacular prelude to its winter display. The upright stems are fine & twiggy, glowing beautifully in the pale winter sun.
