Cotinus coggygria is a large bush, or small tree with rounded green leaves with a hint of orangey-red to the margins of new leaves. The bush is a neat, rounded shape, & can be cut back yearly to maintain size & to rejuvenate stem growth. In the summer, Cotinus coggygria produces clouds of billowy flowers, which are fawn buff colour, turning greyish, giving the Cotinus its common name of the Smoke bush, as the plumes resemble smoke from a distance. Autumn brings spectacular colour changes to the leaves of yellow & red. A pleasing addition to the large border, or a specimen shrub for the smaller garden. Height 301cm+. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
