Despite its common name, this is not a true crocus at all. First discovered in Chile in 1862, it was for many years thought to be extinct in the wild. Its brilliant blue, crocus-like flowers, often with white-veined throats, are set off beautifully against the narrow, greyish-green leaves. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Flowers in spring. Height 10cm. Corm size 6cm+. (Corm sizes"ed in centimetres refer to the circumference of corms. All bulbs/corms are sourced from cultivated stocks.)
