The unusual petals of Dahlia ' Badger Twinkle' put this striking variety in the semi-cactus dahlia class. A little less spiky than a true cactus dahlia, each petal starts broad at the base, tapering to a refined point, creating full blooms that are beautiful in a garden setting & even better enjoyed as a cut flower. These dahlia plants produce eye-catching white & violet-pink bicolour blooms over a very long flowering season
- perfect for adding autumn colour to the garden. The tubers can be lifted after the first hard frost of autumn & replanted the following spring for bigger, better displays each & every year.

Height:
1.2m (4'). Spread 90cm (3').

Flowering from June to the first frosts, this addition to our range of dahlias is a real st&-out specimen which will create a truly unusual splash of colour in borders & containers. The densely packed petals are a very pale pink when viewed from above, but their undersides are a rich 'crème de cassis' colour
- hence the name. The smaller petals at the centre of the flower which have yet to unfurl, give the appearance of a darker-coloured centre, although it’s simply the colour of the undersides of the petals that gives this impression. Looking almost like a water lily, Dahlia ' Crème de Cassis' makes a fabulous cut flower, so try putting some in a vase or giving a bunch to a friend?
