Deciduous woodland plants with coppery-red young leaves, turning mid green with red tips, & sprays of up to 12 white flowers whose inner petals are tinted pale rose. Perfect partner to meconopsis in a shady garden. Flowers March-May. Height 25cm (10); spread 25cm (10). Supplied in a 9cm pot. These robust plants have the ability to tolerate deep shade as well as complete successfully with tree roots, in places where other shade plants fail. Their emerging leaves & flowers put on a charming display in spring when not many other perennials are in bloom, however they provide an attractive backdrop throughout the year.
