Currant tomatoes are the original tomatoes. Found on a beach in Peru in 1707, these mini orbs come in both red & yellow. They are more disease & cold resistant than normal garden tomatoes & have an incredibly sweet taste, balanced well with acidity. Try drying some to make your own tomato currants or toss with mozerella, basil & cous cous for a funky summer salad. Perfect adults & kids alike.
