This traditional holly tree variety, ‘ Green Alaska’, has had its main stem pruned to form an attractive, formal standard shape, making it the perfect choice for growing in containers or mixed borders. It has deep glossy green foliage & clusters of shiny bright red berries. Supplied as a two-year-old plant, already up to 1m in height with a ball head diameter of around 20-30cm, it brings an instant display of stunning colour & structure with interest to the garden. This variety provides a year-round display of glossy, spiny green foliage which has been clipped into a dense ball shape. This easy-to-grow & a low-maintenance standard tree are resilient & hardy, thriving in most conditions. A good for small gardens & patio containers, & will be knockout addition with two at the front entrance of your house, front gate or garden.; In time, this handsome variety forms a narrowly upright, dense evergreen tree that offers useful cover & a valuable source of food for winter birdlife.
