Syringa pubescens subsp. patula ' Miss Kim' stands out for its profusion of sweetly scented, mauve-pink flowers in May & June. The blooms are delicate & smaller than the commonly seen Syringa vulgaris varieties, giving it a more elegant appearance. In autumn, the heart shaped foliage of the Manchurian Lilac turns to rich shades of plum & burgundy. This lovely, slow growing, deciduous shrub has an upright, rounded habit that makes a superb specimen shrub in mixed borders & containers.
