- Bigaradier Growing delicious fruits & pleasantly fragrant flowers! If you like making your own jam & marmalade at home from your homegrown fruits, then give Orange ' Bigaradier' a go! This half-hardy tree grows scrumptious tasting fruits similar to the Seville orange. Glossy dark green foliage is set against clusters of small white fragrant flowers blossoming from April to June. This attractive citrus tree will not only make great fruit but smell wonderful too! It can take up to a year for the fruits to ripen, but once you have a taste, every minute is worthwhile. You can harvest our oranges when ripe & once picked, they can keep for up to two weeks. Orange trees are capable of surviving brief periods below 0C, but for the best result, are grow in large containers & move indoors to a bright frost free position from autumn to spring. A pollination companion will not be required for this tree, as it is self fertile. Propagated onto 'PS' rootstock & supplied as a large specimen bush (often in fruit) in a 5 litre pot.
