These three rhubarb varieties are ideal for beginners & collection contains 3 plants (1 of each variety) suppled in 3 litre pots: Stockbridge Arrow (Early maincrop)
- Up to 6lb of sticks per plant! With its good deep red colour, arrow-shaped leaves & high quality, thick stems (up to 60cm [2'] long when forced), this is an excellent variety. Yorkshire bred, it produces a heavy crop with very few thin or waste sticks. Harvest February-April. Victoria (Late maincrop)
- A reliably heavy cropper. Released in 1837, the year of succession to the throne of Queen Victoria, this easy to grow old favourite was specially bred for forcing in the sheds. The greenish-pink stems have tender flesh with an excellent balance of sweetness & acidity. Harvest April-May. Polish Raspberry (Early maincrop)
- This outstanding variety is quite possibly the best-tasting rhubarb we have ever trialled! Produces good crops of strong green stems that are washed with red & taste divine. Potted Plants
- With potted plants you have well established crowns that from next year will produce plentiful crops.
