Something a little different. Our selected twin pack with the unusual Snow White berries & the superb tasting Mara des Bois variety. Pack contains 24 plants (12 of each variety): Snow White
- A vigorous selection, producing attractive, medium-sized, uniform, conical berries. It was the sweeetest strawberry in our trials. This selection is June-bearing, ripening mid-season, is winter hardy & has excellent disease resistance. The flavour is characteristic of white-fruited strawberries being very aromatic with a unique fresh fruit flavour reminiscent of pineapple. Height 41-50cm; spread 51-60cm; spacing 51-60cm. Invisible to birds. Mid season variety. Mara des Bois
- This much sought after variety combines the sweet, aromatic taste of a wild strawberry with the fruit size of a modern hybrid. The berries are a lovely deep red when ripe & just irresistible! Strawberry Mara de Bois crops over a long period too
- May to September. Height 41-50cm; spread 51-60cm; space 51-60cm. Mid season variety. Plants supplied will be strong, open-ground runners (plants), certified under the Plant Health Propagation Scheme (PHPS). All plants will be hand graded & selected before picking. Note: At despatch time, plants will be partially dormant & some may have very little foliage. Once planted, they are ready to grow away vigorously in spring.
