A holder of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, Viburnum sargentii ' Onondaga' is easy to grow yet rewarding deciduous shrub that will perform well in most garden situations. Deep violet tinted leaves emerge in spring which eventually matures to a rich green colour & then return to their original violet before they fall. The flowers of this hardy plant have large white sterile blooms surrounding a mass of tiny red buds in a lacecap style, these tiny buds eventually open into a profusion of pink tinged flowers which will be very attractive to all pollinating insects. Flowers March-April. Height 251-300cm. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
