Blossom Hill's Winemaker's Release are wines that have been created from a single grape variety. They carefully chose only grapes with the fullest flavours so people could experience the full potential of these few selected flavourful grapes. The Cabernet Sauvignon is bottled at 13% ABV & has a rich, full-body. This magnificent red wine experiences traits of juicy dark berry aromas such as blackberries with subtle hints of spice. The Merlot is bottled at 12.5% ABV & is a more velvety soft red compared to the Cabernet Sauvignon. Ripe red cherry & dark berry aromas fill the nose & it is complemented with a hint of vanilla that follows. On the palate it is full flavoured & robust with berry & more notably blackcurrant flavours coming through, all being complemented by a hint of oak. The Chardonnay is bottled at 13% ABV & is deliciously fresh & ripe. On the nose you can detect melon apple & pear aromas with a hint of tropical & citrus fruit. The Pinot Grigio is bottled at 12.5% ABV & possesses a lively, drier white feel to it than the Chardonnay. On the nose you can detect aromas of fresh pear with a hint of crisp citrus.
