Sake has been produced in the Nara region of Western Japan for over 1000 years. Made from rice which is slowly ferment with Koji rice yeast & mineral water from Nara, the resulting product is the unique & well know Japanese drink, Sake. Choya have been making their finest sake following the traditonal recipe for many years, & is now one of the best known producers world wide. Best consumed new, sake does not mature with age. Often served warm from a Tokkuri, it is sipped when accompanying Japanese foods. Sake also works well chilled & in Westernised cocktails such as a "setting sun". Why not give it a try.
