Created by one of the IWSC gin judges Henrik Hammer who along with his farther set out to extend the flavour potential for gin. Henrik knew geranium was often used in herbal remedies that often included juniper so there was potential. Together with his chemist farther they analysed geranium leaves & discovered that many of the core chemicals in geranium were already present in many other ingredients used to produce gin, proving that geranium would be a good botanical to go in gin. With this knowledge they travelled from Denmark to the glamorous Birmingham to work with the master distiller at the Langley Distillery & fine tune the recipe. Unfortunately Henrik's farther did not survive to see the first bottle produced, however he lives on through this gin that is a tribute to his passion & his son's vision.
