Moet & Chandon 2002 Brut Grand Vintage captures the essence of 269 years of Moet. It is a robust complex & mature champagne constructed from a variety of grapes pick in the 2002 harvest consisting of 51% Chardonnay, 26% Pinot Noir & 23% Pinot Meunier. The 2002 Vintage is a bold gold colour & easy on the eye. It provides a complex & mature bouquet of toasted sweet & dry aromas with notes of frangipane & gilled almonds. Ripe fruits then dominate the bouquet with a strong essence of pear complemented by stoned fruits such as nectarines & plums. On the palate the flavours are brilliantly precise, working in perfect harmony together to construct the best experience. There is a complete roundness & a velvety texture on the palate with flavours of fresh fruits such as grapefruit & mandarin that dominate creating a complex mature & boldly brilliant Champagne.
