Samuel Smith are one of the oldest breweries in North Yorkshire. The pure brewed organic lager, is made using the finest organic malted barley, organic hops & medium soft water, combined with a bottom fermenting yeast. A delicate & soft hop flavoured lager, this is matured at a low temperature ensuring it has a secondary fermentation which allows it to improve the purity & allowing it to be at its optimum for taste. It is then put through their process using fermenting vessels made from solid slabs of slate " Stone Yorkshire Squares" giving the beers a fuller bodied taste. By using the same strain of yeast since the nineteenth century they are continuing their traditional methods & flavours, producing a wonderfully crisp & clean lager, with a slightly sweet finish making it a great choice for all lager drinkers.
