Founded in 1857, Seagram's gin had a unique distillation process that makes it smooth & perfect for making both classic & modern cocktails. The main ingredient was juniper berries & but it is accompanied by a variety of other herbs & spices. These herbs & spices are sourced from around the world, with cardamom coming from Sri lanker, cassia bark from Vietnam, orange peel from Spain, Coriander from the Czech Republic & angelica root from Germany & also the Juniper berries are imported from Italy. The Seagram Master distiller scrutinized many different Gin recipes & sampled thousands of different botanicals in order to select the finest ingredients. The specific recipe for these botanicals is a secret recipe that is closely guarded. Seagram'g Gin carefully blends its botanicals flavours two times. First a pristine neutral spirit is distilled using selected grains from America's heartl&. Then this pure grain neutral spirit is processed once more with the botanicals through a low temperature vacuum distillation. This again purifies the spirits but it adds the essence of the botanicals. During the distillation process including the botanicals, the temperature is controlled, this is to carefully extra any undesirable elements & the result is an enhanced flavourful gin.
