It is an elegant single malt that shows a nose that is quite reserved with some nice fruit acidity from red apple skins and dried fruits. Sweeter notes of toffee and caramel then follow. The famous smoky peat is still very evident and comes alive on the palate, which is followed by wild berry flavours and hits of dried fruit.
