
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, The Red Arrows, took delivery of the Hawk trainer in the winter of 1979-80. Pilots converted from the Gnat & worked up a display using the new aeroplane in time for the 1980 display season. The Hawk has taken the team on tours of Europe, the USA, the Middle & Far East & Australia
- in all, The Red Arrows have displayed in 50 countries. The Corgi model comes with a water-slide decal sheet featuring the serial numbers of all nine of the Red's Hawk Aircraft. This will allow the collector to authentically replicate any of the aircraft in the team.
