Kayaking North Wales -
take to the water with an
exhilarating half or
full-day experience based
in the lovely Llangollen
area of North Wales. As
well as expert coaching
geared towards your level
you get the added bonus
of beautiful surroundings
too. Your kayaking
session is set on the
picturesque waters in and
around the River Dee
against the scenic
countryside backdrop of
North Wales. The lesson
begins with registration
and provision of all the
equipment you will need
including buoyancy aid
safety helmet and kayak
to suit your height and
build. Each group will be
led by a qualified
instructor who will give
a full safety briefing
and demonstration of the
equipment before you get
afloat. The tuition will
take place on a calm
stretch of the river or
nearby canal section so
you can concentrate on
developing your technique
without fear of being
carried off on the

knowledge of how to
control your kayak as
well as learning the
basic essential flat
water skills including
paddling forwards and

Go for a lovely day out
paddle boarding or

Wye! When it comes to
idyllic places to paddle
the River Wye in
Herefordshire is simply
one of the best. It's so
calm beautiful and
natural it feels far
removed from the hustle
and bustle of modern
life. We are offering day

River Wye in a kayak or

Hurst Castle the military
coastal fortress that's
steeped in history. We
are offering one-way

paddles. Hurst Castle
first built by Henry VIII
is an amazing place to
visit. The original Keep
which dates back to the
Tudor times boasts some
of the best views in
Hampshire as you gaze

Victorian red-brick
battery additions and the
quirky-looking
lighthouses on the
shingle spit. Hurst was
decommissioned in 1956
and was taken over by
English Heritage and

shingle spit jutting out

choose which watersports

are laid on for you on

what sort of watersports
are on offer in
Sunderland? Well you can
go on the water with
canoeing kayaking paddle

uninitiated a bell boat
is like two large
side-by-side canoes
connected by a platform -

family-friendly beach

Flag state meaning it is

waters are ideal for

aren't too huge or
intimidating. The
watersports school is
Sunderland's finest. It
boasts a prime position
right on the beachfront

changing rooms clothes

swimwear towel and a pair

transfers to the launch

Each member of the team
is friendly enthusiastic
and welcoming. It's clear
they all love their jobs

nervous first timers.
After all if you've never
paddled out on a lake

daunting. Not here in
Stirlingshire though. The
waters are calm enough to

flowing enough to keep
