Prepare yourself for some serious 'seat of your pants' biplane aerobatics! This Stampe is resident at Shoreham Airport & is ready to taxi off on an aerobatic experience with you onboard. We are offering 30 40 & 60 minute chock-to-chock flights in this wonderful open-cockpit plane. In comparison to modern aerobatic aircraft the Stampe might look like a flimsy vintage biplane but don't judge plane by it's fabric wing coverings. This feisty little flyer is a very close Gallic cousin to the Tiger Moth & was a favourite in the Belgian & French Air Forces deployed as a sport aerobatic trainer. Production halted with the outbreak of WW2 but after France was liberated state-owned aircraft manufacturer SNCAN took up an order for over 700 Stampes
- & this was one of the 846 that were built in France. & that French heritage is very much in evidence with the ' Tricolore' proudly painted on the tail fin. This is a superb 1946 example of a Stampe SV4C. It's proper magnificent men i...

Explore some of the best & most recognisable parts of the English countryside on these biplane tours! As well as all the sightseeing you'll be treated to you'll also be invited to fly the plane yourself as you go swooping in over those famous landmarks. What a brilliant combination! When you take off in your vintage Tiger Moth biplane from the wonderful Bicester Heritage you've got history right under your feet. This is a former RAF station that's pretty much unchanged since the day it was built in the 1930s & boasts a listed control tower & hangars. You're also well-placed for discovering some of the many well-known filming & historical locations in & around Oxfordshire as you fly. Of course your expert instructor pilot will handle take off & once you've had a few moments to adjust to the fact that you're in an open cockpit biplane with a serious view your touring experience starts proper. This is the moment you will be at the controls of the aeroplane as you cruise the sights. This operator has come up with two air tour flight itineraries for you to choose between both of which include plenty of aerial landmarks for you to spot whilst you are at the helm. If you love TV show Midsomer Murders there's a tour that'll take you over directly over many of the quaint villages that make up Inspector Barnaby's patch including Wallingford Nettlebed & Mapledurham. See if you can spot the Corn Exchange which doubles up as Causton Theatre! Then there's the thinking woman's crumpet Inspector Morse. Whilst he furrowed his brow trying to solve the latest crimes in the city of dreaming spires you will be grinning with delight as you fly over some of the most recognisable spots. Our favourite bit is spying Morse's beloved country pub ' The Trout' at Wolvercote. Product Description

Meet handle & fly birds of prey in Scotland! The Scottish countryside has to be one of the finest backdrops for any falconry day. This centre near Cupar has gone one further in the ‘most picturesque setting’ stakes as it takes place at the Scottish Deer Centre
- one of the Fife region’s most visited tourist attractions.

With several decades of experience rearing training & flying birds of prey this raptor world is Scotland’s longest established demonstration & flying centre. Ever since 1993 the birds & their falconers have been wowing the visitors to this deer park. Your experience gives you the chance to go ‘behind the scenes’ as it were & see what the work of a falconer involves.

And as they say here it’ll go from nose to beak then beak & beyond. Having meet both the human & feathered members of this Scottish team there is plenty of time to visit the aviaries & have a go at flying birds of prey to your gloved hand in the centre’s flying arena. & if you’ve never done anything like this before it can be quite a nerve-wracking moment the first time you wait for the raptor to land
- but staff are reassuring & the birds are surprisingly gentle considering those impressive claws!

Having done the nose to beak bit it’s time to go beyond with a Hawk walk. The likes of Squeak & Orkney the Harris Hawks are certainly the stars of the show here in Scotl&. They nothing more than to lead you off into the woodlands as they duck & dive in & around the trees in a display of sheer flying skill. Once again it’s pretty amazing to see as they keep an eye on where you are & regularly come swooping back in for an irresistible titbit from your glove.

access to the deer park where your experience takes place. That means you can spend the whole day here. After you’ve enjoyed your hands-on session with the birds of prey you can have a wander & say hello to the fellow residents. There are 14 different species of deer otters Scottish wildcats & even lynx & packs of wolves. Kids will love the adventure park play barns & pedal kart tracks too. A truly lovely place for a day in Scotland with the birds of prey.
