Forge your metalworking skills on these one-day blacksmith courses in Kent! Hosted by award-winning blacksmith Michael you'll spend the day at his workshop in the heart of Kent learning the art of blacksmithing. Located just outside the Kentish village of Horsmonden Michael has set up a fully-equipped blacksmith's forge. He specialises in using both traditional & contemporary techniques to create both classic & modern pieces. We love his architectural work which has included everything from traditional iron gates at the Houses of Parliament to vine-themed balconies on modern barn conversions. As well as bespoke commissions & design work Michael loves to take time to teach blacksmithing. Pupils come from all over Kent Sussex & beyond to be taught the basics of this ancient craft.
